Create Directories (folders) for Later Use

 

I created mine on my (E:) drive because that's the drive letter where I have the most hard drive space. But you can use any hard drive letter available on your PC.

• E:\ftp

This is the root for your FTP directories. You'll everything related to your FTP site in this folder's subdirectories. Create the next three directories as subdirectories of this one.

• E:\ftp\log

This is where you’ll store your FTP server logs. (see 8.1)

• E:\ftp\download

This is where you’ll store SHNs for people to download. (see 8.4)

• E:\ftp\upload

This is where people will upload SHNs. (see 8.4)
